Today’s news says that Nintendo has a loss at last. Nintendo’s sales last year were one third of 2009. I have been working for the computer markets and I deeply understand what this means.
It is not only a problem for Nintendo but also a problem for many related people.
For example shops. The sale of Nintendo in shops has decrease one third. It means they can not survive. Nintendo has few creators working directly for Nintendo, most of them are self-employed or very small companies. They do not have any job except for the current clients. Because they do not have enough human resources for multiple clients. So, most of their life depends on only one client.
There is a big problem for every game artists that can not work by themselves. For example, the best CG artist could make a beautiful 3D CG but he does not know how to make music, computer programs, etc. On the other hand, legacy artist such as music player, painters, etc could finish up their works by themselves. It means that the legacy artist can find their way by themselves but Computer artists do not have any way to go.
I know their results: They will discard their artistic talent and find ordinarily jobs.
